Haven't been to San Diego yet, i've been up in LA a few times and San Francisco area as well but just haven't made a trip down to SD. Thanks for the restaurant suggestions! Will mark them on our map for when we visit. Gig probably wants to go to Queenstown first though she saw some photos from my hike up the tiki trail and that may be above SD on our list of places to go. So is a weekend plenty to see SD?

I live in east county San Diego, if you head out even further east you can hit up some locally loved mountain towns like Pine Valley, Julian, and a lake called Lake Cuyamaca. Julian is a personal favorite and is a great place to go apple picking in the fall!! 🎃

What I enjoy about your video(s) are that thet makes me, as a videographer want to get out & explore the treasures of my city more… meet more people, experience local places I would not have chosen to go to & create travel content…

IDEA: Ask your viewers to capture their favorite person, place or thing in their city or town…. then show the top ten videos.

I went to this city two years in a row. It’s my favourite city in the world. I think it summarises everything that ‘California’ means. I also love the Mexican influence and how not many tourists go there. Sunset cliff National Park is just the most beautiful place I have ever been. I want to move there in the future.

Went to college in San Diego! It is by far one of the best places to live in the country. Perfect weather, great food, nice people, and a really relaxed vibe 🙂

Lucha isn’t bad but definitely not the best in San Diego, there being a lot more restaurants. Colimas on the same street is really good

SD > LA. Just needs a bit more going on and more high paying jobs to match the cost of living. Too much of the interesting stuff is in LA, while too many high paying tech jobs are in SF.

For all of you people thinking of moving to San Diego, don't. You can't afford it. Just a warning. People think they can afford it until they need some work done on their car or house, go to the dentist or doctor's office, or just want to go out on the weekends for some nightlife fun. You may be able to pay the rent and utilities but you will have very little left for the things that come up in the day to day living. Trust me, it is expensive here. Come and visit as much as you want.

Yes, bye all means, come to San Diego to be surrounded by the homeless and illegal aliens. Just think, you can step out freely into the large piles of human excrement in the streets. Be surrounded by beggars just about everywhere. Enjoy paying the extremely high prices for all of these wonderful opportunities that await you in San Diego.

As a California native who is currently sitting in Utah and shivering while watching this video, needless to say I am jealous haha. San Diego is a lovely place to live or spend some vacation time, so I'm glad you guys gave it the love it deserves. It is a good reminder that you don't always have to travel to the other side of the world for an adventure! I'm grateful to have a lifetime supply of adventures not too far away in southern Utah, the Grand Canyon, Colorado, etc. You guys should totally do a video or series of videos in the 4 corners region!

San Diego is a city for the rich and wealthy that is why the rent so high and homeless explosion is choking .
