Good Day! People of YouTube and welcome to Spaceline Pals Elon Musk accepts a new challenge. After successfully lifting off the Falcon-9 reusable rocket from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida At 9:39 EST on 19th Feb. 2017 Elon Musk Tweeted that his next goal is to make a rocket that can be reused within 24 hours of landing NASA hopes to go to Mars in the next two decades and will kill its share of the International Space Station in order to pay the bills As informed by William Gersteinmaeir head of NASA’s human spaceflight department This plan includes building a vehicle no thats not it The other one Yes thats it, called the Deep Space gateway that will circle four astronauts around the moon by 2025 Then by 2033 The astronauts will close the hatch of another spacecraft the Deep Space Transport!! And depart on a years long trip around MARS!! and perhaps fly by Venus too. The plan is tentative until president Trump……….. until President Trump announces a new head of NASA Astronomers using NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope have discovered a Venus like Planet that orbits a dim star about one by fifth the size of our sun. and is located 219 light years away from the earth The newly discovererd planet is only slightly larger than the earth And a year there merely equals to 9 days The possibility of life on that planet is quite rare OR NOT RARE As the flux of sunlight reaching that planet is about 2.3 times that reaching on the earth. Astromers for the first time have detected an atmosphere around the eath-like planet just 39 lightyears away Researchers studied a planet called “GJ1132b” which is 1.4 times the size of our planet. possibilities include a waterworld with an atmosphere of hot steam It provides a hopeful counterexample of an atmosphere that has endured for billions of years Such atmospheres can mean the preconditions of life are quite common in the universe Jupiter has been captured in great detail in an image released by NASA the photograph taken by Hubble Space Telescope views the gas giant in opposition that is in a position directly opposite to the sun and the earth At the time the photo was taken All three were aligned with the earth between sun and Jupiter At this point, the planet’s colorful atmosphere was on full display NASA’s Peggy Whitson assumed command of the International Space Station on Sunday As two Russian crew members and an American prepared to fly back to earth She becomes the first two-time female commander of the International Space Station On April 24, Whitson will have spent more time in space than any other American astronaut did She already held records for the most time spent in space by a woman and for the most time spent spacewalking by a woman NASA has postponed the third launch attempt of the Super Pressure Balloon From Wanaka, New Zealand On Monday due to poor weather at ground and surface levels Recently, indirect evidence points to a Uranus-sized planet lurking near the outer edge of the solar system This possible ninth planet has an estimated mass of around 10 times that of the Earth making it slightly smaller than the Uranus. However, indirect evidence is not enough to prove its existence. Experts estimate that the orbit of planet nine is around 700 times further than the Earth from the Sun A relatively large near-Earth asteroid will fly past our planet safely on April 19 at a distance of about 1.8 million kilometres over four times the distance for (b/w) the Earth and the Moon Although there is no possibility for the asteroid to collide with Earth there will be a very very close approach for an asteroid of this size. The asteroid will approach Earth from the direction of the Sun and will become visible in the night sky after April 19 It is predicted to brighten to about magnitude 11 when it could be visible in small telescopes Small asteroids pass within this distance of Earth several times each week but the upcoming close approach is the closest by any known asteroid of this size or larger since asteroid Toutatis, a five-kilometre asteroid which approached within about four lunar distances in 2004 The next known encounter of an asteroid of comparable size will occur in 2027 The encounter on April 19 is the closest this asteroid has come to Earth for at least the last 400 years and will be its closest approach for at least the next 500 years.
