Flights connecting South Korea and Vietnam to be suspended this week

Vietnam announced a ban on foreigners
entering the country from South Korea the two nations airlines are suspending

sources in the aviation industry said Tuesday that Korean Air is suspending
flights to and from Viet Nam’s Ho Chi Minh City from Wednesday afternoon it
has already stopped flying to Hanoi and Donna Korea’s other flagship carrier
Asian airlines will also suspend flights to Ho Chi Minh from Friday and stop
flying to NHA trang and Da Nang as of Sunday low-cost carriers including Toa
Jin air and Easter jack’d have suspended Vietnam flights as well meanwhile
Vietnam’s national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines says it’s suspending all of its
South Korea flights from Thursday and will resume them once the outbreak in
Korea is under better control in a statement on its website Tuesday Vietnam
Airlines said its flights from South Korea on Tuesday and Wednesday are being
rerouted to two relatively obscure airports in Quang Ninh Province and
Kanto city because planes from Korea are already prohibited from landing in Hanoi
and Ho Chi Minh private carrier bamboo Airways also halted services to South
Korea in late February in addition to regular passenger service most ferry
flights for crew are expected to be suspended by the end of this week as
