Honestly, if the planes going down, hopefully I can get a few shots of vodka before I meet The Lord. Need a lil buzz before I party for eternity 😂💀

Gotta say, I rather be trained with skills by a chubby survivalist… like Cody Lundin. It's more practical.

Tips: If you find a river or stream of water, follow it downstream and it will usually eventually lead you to either a larger body of water or civilization. When trying to start a fire, birch bark will light in almost any situation, whether it's wet or dry, so try to find and use some of that.

Hey, could Damon do a video about traveling as a vegaterian? That would be super cool. I am a vegaterian myself so it would be helpful. I love y'all. Your videos never stop amazing me and making me laugh. Thx for letting us be apart of your journey 😊😘

Hmm. Let me just put a little thought into this, because I have actually made it a point to learn a few things about survival.
SWFF. This stands for Shelter, Water, Fire, Food. These are the four essentials. Whatever survival situation you find yourself in, once you have secured these, you're good.

And for the record, in a recession, industries that provide these suffer the least. Job hunting during a recession produces much better results when you prioritize your job hunt toward industries that provide essential goods and services and away from industries that provide luxuries.

But anyhow, a latrine in your camp is essential, but make it a point to put it downhill of everything else. This seems like common sense, but a lot of people forget it.

Don't lose track of the Sun while you're hiking. It provides your source of time. Extend your arm completely and when one edge of your fingers touches the horizon and the other touches the Sun, it's time to make camp for the night because the Sun will set in about an hour.

If you are making camp in a cold climate, make sure to pile on the layers, because it's not just the layers of material that are keeping you warm, but the layers of still air between them. But make sure that the shelter you build has an opening down low for air to come in and an opening up high for air to go out, and make sure that the platform you are sleeping on is elevated. Warm air rises and cool air descends and you will sleep a lot more soundly if the cold air in the shelter has a place lower than you to descend to.

As far as navigation goes, if you have a compass, no problem. If not, well you probably learned this in the Academy, but to avoid going in circles, make it a point to go downhill until you come to a river, then follow the river until you come to a coastline, then follow the coastline until you find civilization.

Tip: Raid everyone's wallet. Notes can be burnt too. Pray to god it's not some currency using those plastic notes lol

When that lady said I don't like being Damon's partner, it litterally looks like a reality TV show interview…
