If Flight Attendants Were Honest

(ding) – Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard. My name is Russell and
assisting me today will be Xanax and Zoloft. I’m here for your safety and
they’re here for my comfort. (energetic jazz music) – I’m doing the safety
demo knowing full well you’re all ignoring me. I might as well be doing the Macarena. – There’s absolutely no way
that that’s going to fit in the overhead compartment but I’m gonna watch you try anyway. – I’m not a bartender. So I will not be granting
you a Bloody Mary with Worcestershire sauce. – Oh, is this your
newborn’s first time flying? How could you do that to us? – There’s no turbulence. I just turned on the seat belt
sign because I want you to stay the hell out of my way. – Diet soda takes forever to pour. Here’s a regular one. You won’t know the difference. – Pressing the call button repeatedly isn’t going to make me
tend to you any faster. In fact, it’s gonna make me go slower. (pouring) – When I said I would check your bag, that was a courtesy, but you were rude so now it’s going to Baltimore. – You know that vodka we just ran out of? We use it to make crew
juice in the galley. – Go ahead, tug my skirt one more time. I dare you. – I said pretzels or peanuts. This isn’t an all you
can eat buffet, honey. – I have no idea what we’re
flying over right now. So I’ll just say the Bahamas. – Since you blatantly
ignored the seat belt sign, I hope the turbulence
knocks you on your ass. – Oh, you think I’m
coming through the cabin to pick up your trash? No, I’m crop-dusting. Enjoy smelling my farts. (energetic jazz music)

Giving a regular soda instead of a diet one is really irresponsible. The person you're lying to could have diabetes.

Although this may be a joke I do personally feel as though buzz feed crossed a line with the diet soda like that’s the difference between a diabetic coma or not, like that’s just me there was no need

Thank God I don’t drink any type of fizzy drinks because they hurt my tongue. If I ordered a diet and she gave me a regular my insulin balance would be whack

Okay so now we can all stop commenting on the soda. There have already been hundreds of people doing that.

As a flight attendant I can say only some of these are true. The safety demo and the call button bits are very true but the diet soda part is not.
Not sure about all airlines, but at least in most, flight attendants don't control the seat belt sign, it's the pilots. And the "crew juice" was a funny joke, but no one would actually do that. At least in EU, we could get in a lot of trouble for drinking (even very little) on the job.
The tugging on the skirt thing – DON'T EVER DO THAT. It's super disrespectful. If I'm not responding to you, it's probably because I'm taking care of someone else now. Wait your turn. Show some manners. Don't touch me. Can you imagine someone tugging at your sleeve in your office when they want to get your attention? It's ridiculous.
I also don't know why so many passengers think flight attendants know what country the plane flies over. We don't pilot the plane. We don't have time to stare out of the window.
I think the video is missing what we think when we just finished service and cleaned out the trolley and a passenger comes into the galley because he decided he wanted peanuts after all.

Those flight attendants were worse than the seats on a Ryanair flight
    And they are really bad

0:39 It’s all fun and games until the person is diabetic and it makes their blood sugar levels go crazy.
