Illenium Concert Canceled Thursday At Red Rocks Due To Weather

COLORADO TONIGHT AS CONVERTERS WILL BE VERY FRIGID. WE WILL BE CALLED IN DENVER, WE DID HAVE OUR FIRST HARD FREEZE LAST NIGHT, NO FREEZE WARNINGS, WE ARE IN FOR CHILLY TEMPERATURES TOMORROW MORNING. WE SAW A LOT OF SNOW TODAY, THIS WILD WEATHER CANCELED THE SHOW AT RED ROCKS. Reporter: IT DID INDEED. HERE WE ARE AT RED ROCKS. NORMALLY, ON A NIGHT LIKE TONIGHT, WE WOULD BE ROCKING OUT. WE ARE AT THE EMPTY PARKING LOT. BECAUSE OF THE COLD AND SNOW, THE SHOW WAS CANCELED. IT IS TOO COLD TO ROCK OUT AT RED ROCKS TONIGHT. THE SHOW TOMORROW NIGHT AND THE NEXT NIGHT IS STILL AGO. IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE IT WILL GET COLDER, 22 DEGREES A LOT OF THE SNOW WILL NOT GO AWAY ANYTIME SOON. LOOK AT THE SNOW WE DID SEE AROUND THE AREA. OFFICIALLY AT DIA, 1 INCH OF SNOW, FIRST MEASURABLE SNOWFALL HERE AND AROUND THE METRO AREA, 1 TO 4 AND YOU GET TO PLACES LIKE EVERGREEN, WE HAD 5 1/2 INCHES OF SNOW UP THERE. MORE SNOW AMOUNTS, WE TAKE YOU INTO THE MOUNTAINS FROM THE FOOTHILLS ALL THE WAY TOWARD BRECKENRIDGE OVER INTO STEAMBOAT AREA. ANYWHERE FROM 5 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW. I HAVE ONE MORE PICTURE TO SHOW YOU, THE SNOW AT WINTER PARK. IT DID PILE UP, THEY HAD ALMOST 8 TO 9 INCHES OF SNOW OUT OF THIS SNOWSTORM THAT CAME THROUGH.
