Southwest Airlines Flight Review – Flying To Orlando

Ok, well hello and today we’re flying
down from Rochester New York down to Orlando! Flying with Southwest
Airlines, we’ve never tried these they are a US airline and they are
budget airline but I think they’re a bit better than Ryanair standard, I hope so.
They are a bit more courteous on check-in. They had quite a good baggage allowance
so we’ll see. Let’s go. Well before we get on the plane, a little note
about Rochester Airport staff. They are really polite, I haven’t ever been to an
airport where they’ve been so polite yeah,
Security especially, very polite. Right so there’s the plane, first time on
Southwest I don’t know what planes they use. What’s that? is that a Boeing ? The stewardess, when she was ding the announcement, she went oh, oh! Another thing that is quite good,
they haven’t got seat back TVs but they have got a Wi-Fi service. A free Wi-Fi service that
can pick up in flight TV. So you can watch live TV.
So that’s free so that’s quite good. Butt remember to bring your charger. Well
this is the in-flight magazine. But you don’t have that on EasyJet.
Cowboy boots adverts. It’s a bit bumpy because we’re about,
well the pilot just came over to say we’re about a hundred miles from the center of
Hurricane Florence. Over the Carolinas, so we’ve got a bit of
turbulent air, it’s not that bad actually, I’ve been on worse. So Mel, how was that? It was good that’s Lots of
leg room, nice comfy flight as opposed to the, how long? nine hours it normally takes from the UK. There’s no customs, yeah we walk straight off. “When the shuttle stops please exit and
follow the signs to baggage claim A” “Resort and other ground transportation
options are on level one”

I do like those cowboy boots! The last time I took an internal flight in the US we had pretty poor service – this looks like a vast improvement.

Politeness is good, manner cost nothing I always say. I think the free wifi for in-flight entertainment is something most airlines will adopt soon

I love Southwest Airlines!! My favorite domestic airline in the US for sure. They have some of the friendliest crew on board and they love to crack jokes too 🙂 And you're practically in my neighborhood in central Florida!

I've never flown South West, but my husband does for work all the time. We travel with a big family most the time and I like to pick my seats, so the extra fee doesn't make it that much cheaper for us. I am such a chicken when it comes to turbulence ha

Looks pretty good, glad they gave that hurricane a wide berth! And I reckon you'd look pretty stylish in those cowboy boots

Southwest airline is my favorite United States airline because you can change your tickets for free and you get 2 check bags also. Looks like a beautiful day in Orlando.
