Ok, well hello and today we’re flying
down from Rochester New York down to Orlando! Flying with Southwest
Airlines, we’ve never tried these they are a US airline and they are
budget airline but I think they’re a bit better than Ryanair standard, I hope so.
They are a bit more courteous on check-in. They had quite a good baggage allowance
so we’ll see. Let’s go. Well before we get on the plane, a little note
about Rochester Airport staff. They are really polite, I haven’t ever been to an
airport where they’ve been so polite yeah,
Security especially, very polite. Right so there’s the plane, first time on
Southwest I don’t know what planes they use. What’s that? is that a Boeing ? The stewardess, when she was ding the announcement, she went oh, oh! Another thing that is quite good,
they haven’t got seat back TVs but they have got a Wi-Fi service. A free Wi-Fi service that
can pick up in flight TV. So you can watch live TV.
So that’s free so that’s quite good. Butt remember to bring your charger. Well
this is the in-flight magazine. But you don’t have that on EasyJet.
Cowboy boots adverts. It’s a bit bumpy because we’re about,
well the pilot just came over to say we’re about a hundred miles from the center of
Hurricane Florence. Over the Carolinas, so we’ve got a bit of
turbulent air, it’s not that bad actually, I’ve been on worse. So Mel, how was that? It was good that’s Lots of
leg room, nice comfy flight as opposed to the, how long? nine hours it normally takes from the UK. There’s no customs, yeah we walk straight off. “When the shuttle stops please exit and
follow the signs to baggage claim A” “Resort and other ground transportation
options are on level one”
